APPLICATION CRITERIA

​In order to apply for The Bonaire Tourism Scholarship Program, candidate must: 

​

  1. Be enrolled in an education institution attending a minimum of two-year college or university related to the tourism industry. Or will follow an individual professional development course that can enhance their skills and knowledge related to the tourism industry.

  2. Indicate their financial needs.

  3. Must be in possession of a sedula when applying. 

  4. Upload their CV

  5. Complete the application and include a one-page essay explaining:

  • the applicant’s area of tourism and academic interest,

  • outline of how the scholarship will advance the applicant’s career,

  • expected growth opportunities as a result of completing the program due to the scholarship,

  • how they envision their involvement in the Bonaire tourism sector after graduation.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Fill out the application form.​

  2. All scholarship applications must be received no later than the deadline ​

  3. The first Awards will be announced after evaluation.

  4. Every successful scholarship recipient must re-apply annually for continued support.

  5. Deadline to apply is July 5th, 2024

Please note:

Scholarships are awarded for tuition only and funds are paid directly to the educational institution. No money will be sent to students. Incomplete applications will not be considered for scholarships.
