ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Bonaire Tourism Scholarship Program will help you fund individual professional development courses and full time academic courses in all areas of Hospitality and Tourism Management for Associate (MBO), Bachelor and Master programs.

The scholarship allows deserving students and non students to achieve their educational goals, meet their professional objectives and realize their dreams. In addition, the scholarship program enables participants to take advantage of opportunities for continuing their professional development. This scholarship is also an effective tool/opportunity to improve recruitment of qualified locals and encourage retention and professional growth in the tourism sector of Bonaire.

OUR VISION

Scholarships provide an opportunity for people to earn an education or further develop their skills. Without assistance from an outside source, some students may have trouble paying for the degree. Therefore, this program will make studying more accessible to the local community which will ensure that Bonaire develops more professionals in the tourism industry.

OUR GOAL

The goal of this scholarship program is to provide the participants with a scholarship to help them through the finances of their education, help them complete their education and spark interest in becoming a professional in the tourism industry.

WHAT WE
PROVIDE

Tourism Corporation Bonaire will be granting the scholarship to a minimum of 10 participants per academic year and the participants will receive this in the first year of their studies. Scholarships are awarded for tuition only and funds are paid directly to the University or College. No money will be sent to the participant. Please note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship.
